The Union of Orthodox Journalists begins active work in Georgia
The goal of the Union of Orthodox Journalists is to strengthen the Orthodox faith, protect Christian values, and promote them in the wider society.
In Georgia, the Union of Orthodox Journalists has been established – it is an international organization that is already successfully operating in 10 countries. Its main goal is to strengthen the Orthodox faith, protect Christian values, and promote them widely in society.
For us, Georgia holds a special place as a country dedicated to the Mother of God. It is here, where for centuries faith and the church have been the foundation of national identity, that we see a particular need to strengthen the Orthodox voice and provide the public with reliable, in-depth, and fair information.
Our goal is singular: to make the Orthodox religion in Georgia stronger, to reinforce faith among the people, to protect the interests of the church, and to give the public the opportunity to better understand the depth and significance of the holy Orthodox faith. The Union of Orthodox Journalists in Georgia is beginning active work in the service of faith, truth, and spiritual values.
On November 21, 2024, the UOJ registered a new legal entity in Europe and also opened branches on Mount Athos, in Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Serbia, the USA, Albania, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. In the future, the opening of branches in various countries is planned.
