The children who have been under the care of Metropolitan Longin published a video address to the slanderer Edgar Kalancha, who spread fake news about the staff of the orphanage at the Bancheny monastery in the form of "satirical sketches" on YouTube.

The children from the orphanage emphasized that the blogger disseminates fake and out-of-context information.

"For each point of accusation against our father (and he is a father to us), we can provide explanations and evidence. What you lack, apart from the slander of former wards of our guardian," the children stated.

The children noted that the slanderer formed an opinion about the bishop and their lives based on the false stories of three individuals. The opinion of the real wards of the Banchany Monastery was not taken into account by Kalanchа.

"We are all ready to meet as living evidence. And we will provide you with complete answers on each point," the wards emphasized.

The children's address was a response to the campaign of discrediting Metropolitan Longin, which was launched on social media by blogger Kalanchа.

Earlier, the Union of Orthodox Journalists reported that the media slanders Metropolitan Longin using "artistic fiction." Based on this fiction, the police opened a criminal case.
