Service with the participation of Met. Onuphry cancelled in Khmelnytskyi

In Khmelnytskyi, the All-Night Vigil with the participation of His Beatitude Onuphry, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy, was cancelled.
At 3:00 PM, two hours before the service, the notorious radical and provocateur Yevhen Karas, together with the deputy of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council Viktor Burlyk published a video calling on Khmelnytskyi residents to block the St. Nicholas Cathedral and disrupt the service. Burlyk and Karas are known for the provocation involving the "beating of a soldier" in April 2023, which resulted in a crowd that "transferred" the cathedral of the UOC to the OCU.
Garbage trucks and vehicles for transporting waste were placed near the cathedral. About 100 people gathered, attacking parishioners and accusing them of working for the Russian world.
One of the activists poured pig's blood on the gates of the cathedral.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that a provocation against Metropolitan Onuphry was being prepared in Khmelnytskyi.
