On April 10, 2025, another court session took place at the Sosnivsky District Court in Cherkasy regarding one of the criminal cases brought against Metropolitan Theodosiy of Cherkasy and Kaniv. As reported by Suspilne. Cherkasy, during the session, the court concluded its review of video materials from searches conducted in the hierarch’s apartment.
Metropolitan Theodosiy, as before, joined the hearing via video link.
Specifically, the judge granted the archbishop's defence request to ban photo and video recording of the presented evidence.
The prosecutor in the case, Vadym Kolomiyets, told reporters that at the next session, the court will continue reviewing written materials, particularly the first volume of the case, which contains "physical evidence, inspection protocols, and other documents".
As reported by the UOJ, the court released Metropolitan Theodosiy from overnight house arrest.
