Thousands of worshippers gather for liturgy at Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra

On April 2, 2023, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry headed a Liturgy at the Holy Cross Church of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, reports a UOJ correspondent.
Thousands of UOC believers came to pray on Sunday.
It wasn’t enough space in the temple to house everyone, so a lot of worshippers prayed in the square in front of the Holy Cross Church.
"In the Lavra, Sunday is going on in its own way. There are services in the temples. Many parishioners are praying outside, as no temple can house so many people. The radicals are still asleep, with 20 police officers on duty at the entrance to the monastery," reports the UOJ.
As earlier reported, the Lavra abbot said Epifaniy and Filaret will disappear but the Church will stand.
